About Seminar Theme:
Electronic resource management (ERM) is the practices and techniquesused by librarians and library staff to track the selection, acquisition, licensing, access, maintenance, usage, evaluation, retention, and de-selection of a library’s electronic information resources (Wikipedia). Number of proprietary ERM tools is available for the effective management of E-resources, to name few Innovative Interfaces, Serial Solutions, ExLibris etc.

CORAL is an open source electronic resource management system built by the University of Notre Dame’s Hesburgh Libraries. It is designed to be both simple and highly customizable – each module can be installedindependently or used together depending on your library’s needs.
Objective of the Seminar:

The resource persons demonstrated the basic features of CORAL, Installation and configuration, and various modules.
